"Computer Guys" Radio talk show 1996

I found a few tapes from my radio talk show in 1996. My friend Tom and I did a live call-in show called "The Computer Guys". I just finished digitizing two and will add others as I find the time. Really interesting to look back at the infancy of PC's and the internet.

Blogger won't load the mp3 files, so I converted them to mp4 videos and put them on Utube. Added most of my Vegas photos to the videos so you have something to watch while you listen to history. You'll find some interesting photos of building the NY-NY and Bellagio as well as a vintage performance of the Thunderbirds at Nellis AFB

Photo album of my VERY diverse work history

I started putting a photo album together to illustrate the diverse life and work I've enjoyed.

This is just the start, I'll be working on this for weeks or months. The link below will show the latest.

Click and enjoy:   Note. When the album opens, click the first picture, and also the comment icon on the bottom right, next to the heart icon. This will show information about each picture as you scroll.

Work History - Western Electric

How many jobs/careers? I'm not sure, so this is a start down memory lane.

Paper boy of course. Not the one you see all the time throwing the papers on a lawn. I lived in Union City NJ, all apartment buildings. So you climbed up and down the stairs for an hour or two every day.

Here are a few photos from my time at Western Electric, working INSIDE a CPU with a dual-trace oscilliscope. Tracking the bits to make sure they became the proper bytes 😉
